History/ Background: The oldest part of constructor group dates back to 1856. The current company name was adopted in 1996 following a merge with Electrolux Constructor. At this time Constructor was owned by a Norwegian industrial investment company, who also acquired the Dexion Group. In 2010 Constructor Group opened a distribution hub in Swindon PSS (Planned Storage Systems).
Merging of Companies:
Dexion was originally founded in 1937. Dexion was the first to launch a slotted angle system 60 years ago. The company ceased trading in 2003, when manufacture was taken over by Constructor Group based in Norway.
The company was acquired by Constructor Group in 2008, taking over the Swindon site in 2010. PSS have a strong reputation within the UK, it is manufactured to ISO 9001 standards and all designs comply with SEMA codes of practice.

Hilo Rackplan Systems
A versatile system available in a wide range of sizes and duties. Beams slot into frames and bracing is bolted adding to ease of assembly. Reversilble uprights allow damaged sections to be re-used.
